Day 1: No Protein Bar. The mood is tense.

I have a bag full of protein bars that were freebies at the Tough Mudder yesterday.

My friend Marek and I decided to try to give up 1 unhealthy edible food each that we have relied upon on an every day basis. I decided to give up protein bars and he decided to give up energy drinks.

So far I’ve eaten 4 small mangos and water. I hunger for some protein, and am about to step out to forage for some with the kids.
